Asset TagI work in a school and because I cover some of the lessons in the school, as part of my benefit package I have been given a laptop computer to use within the school. Of course, the computer is the property of the school and will be fitted with an
Asset Tag so that it will be far less likely to be stolen. The
Asset Tag is a really good idea because it means that the school can keep a check on all its computers at all times. An
Asset Tag means that the school can keep track of who holds which computer and, as such, means that there should not be any worries about mix ups. I must say it is really helpful to have a laptop to use at school. There are so many areas that one is needed in a school these days with the advent of interactive whiteboards and the virtual learning environment. If a member of staff did not have their own personal laptop to use I feel it would seriously undermine their ability to do their job properly. It has definitely made my job easier to be able to access all the information that other staff can at any time.
